Change is not easy

A struggle to say the least

Fueled by inescapable fear

And disproportionate disbelief

Unfelt storms brewing

Unseen sunrises laying low

Masked by atmospheric shadows

Waiting to be freed and let go

Change is not easy

Pages remain unwritten

Ink not yet dry

Streets uncharted, unpaved

Words unspoken in kind

New Relationships not discoverable to the naked eye

Change is not easy

So embrace the tomorrows

With fervor and care

Change is the unfulfilled rainbow promises

Written about in another stratosphere
